Simple Tips to Stay Safe from Dengue Mosquitoes

Dengue mosquitoes, also known as Aedes mosquitoes, are responsible for transmitting dengue fever. To protect yourself from these mosquitoes and reduce the risk of dengue fever, consider the following simple tips:

  1. Eliminate Breeding Sites: Dengue mosquitoes breed in standing water. Regularly inspect your surroundings for items that can collect water, such as flower pots, discarded containers, buckets, and tires. Empty, cover, or properly dispose of these items to prevent mosquito breeding.
  2. Keep Clean: Ensure that your living area is clean and free of clutter. Clean gutters, drains, and other areas where water can accumulate. This reduces potential mosquito breeding sites.
